Clouds will prevail in the sky, with longer sunny spells in the south. Very light snowfall is possible on the border ridge.
A transient ridge of high pressure will bring settled winter weather. In South Tyrol, northerly föhn conditions will temporarily develop.
Light snowfall along the main Alpine ridge will ease during the morning hours. Thereafter, clouds will break up with gusty northerly winds, leading to widespread sunshine.

On Monday, cloud will once again dominate, and along the border with North Tyrol there may be intermittent light snowfall. The most favourable conditions, with occasional sunshine, are expected in the southern areas. On Tuesday, conditions will remain variably cloudy. Wednesday will bring persistent low stratus in some valleys. Elsewhere, a mix of high cloud and sunshine is expected. On Thursday, conditions will continue with a combination of low stratus and sunshine.
